What happens when you back up your iPhone to a macbook?
I have an iphone5 but I'll be disowning it soon, its a long story.anyways, i of course want to save everything on the iPhone… Pictures, most importantly. So if i back up my iPhone on iTunes (with the computer, not iCloud) will it save everything including all the pictures? I'll be getting the iphone5s when it comes out and was also wondering if i restore the iPhone… Will all my pictures go to that new phone? Because thats what I'm hoping for…
If you have a MacBook, just connect your iPhone to iPhoto and save all your pictures there. Backing up a iPhone to iTunes saves everything like apps, songs, movies, settings, ect.
Matthew was right. Honestly, it really is not a very good idea to use your phone to store your photos. You should always transfer them to your computer if they are photos you want to keep, regardless of if you want to get a new phone or not.
And don't hold your breath waiting for the iPhone 5s. It is not being released on Sept. 10th. The new phones are just going to be officially announced on the 10th. They will be out 2 or 3 months after iOS 7 is finally launched
- What would you do if you were watching your favorite show, and your 20 year old kid turned off the TV so that you couldn't watch it? I pay all the bills at the house. I normally watch AHS once a week with my kid. This week, she told me to go watch it in my own room. I told her my TV wasn't working and we would just have to watch it in her room. She turned off the TV so that I couldn't watch it. Then, she pompously pulled out her iPhone and proceeded to watch it on her iPhone. What would you do if this happened to you?
- What happens when your itunes library exceeds your iphone capacity? Is there some way to choose the files/songs you want to place on the iphone and the rest to leave off? Please inform - thanks!
- What happens when you block someone on an iPhone 6, and they text you or call you? Specifically, does the phone keep ringing or does it say the call can't be made? Does the text deliver and just never show up on the receiving phone, or does the sender get a message saying the text can't be sent? (The other phone is not an iPhone.)
- What happens to your phone service when you restore an iPhone without the back up data? Just wondering. Because it's one of the only ways I can clear the 'Other' data from my 8GB iPhone. Anyone know what that is anyway?
