What happens when i restore my iphone?
My iphone does not charge. Its not in the lockscreen it in a blackscreen with a big battery in the middle but it stays red forever. It says i have to restore but does it lose all my photos, apps, everything? I have a lot of things especially my little sisters baby pictures and all her memories to show at her sweet 16. What do i do! I want to save the pics but idc about everything else
Have you backed up anything recently using iTunes or iCloud for your phone? ICloud is 5gb free storage that keeps stuff out there for reasons like this. If you haven't recently or at all there's a good chance you'll lose photos, music, etc especially those after the last backup. SIM card keeps contacts
You'll have to restore to factory specs using iTunes and I would set up like a new phone instead of restoring from a previous backup because something else is way wrong. If you get that far then reload stuff back on carefully since there's an issue.
Hope you're not out.
Best luck.
- What happens when you restore your IPhone or IPod? I want to take off my jailbreak on my iPod touch and someone told me to restore my ipod with iTunes. I backed up my ipod touch with Icloud to get my things back. After I restore what do I have to do to get my music, settings, and pictures back.
- What happens when I restore my iPhone 5? On my iPhone 5, a lot of my songs are cluttered and just messed up so I wanted to restore my iPhone and start fresh with putting music on it. If I restore it, will my phone number and critical stuff like that be erased or just trivial stuff like songs and podcasts?
- What happens when I restore my iPhone 4s? I forgot my restriction passcode and for some reason i can't get anything over 12+ or something? It's really bugging me and I was told that the only way to reset the passcode is to restore it. Is this true. Also, if i restore my iPhone, what will happen to all my music?
- What happens to your phone service when you restore an iPhone without the back up data? Just wondering. Because it's one of the only ways I can clear the 'Other' data from my 8GB iPhone. Anyone know what that is anyway?
