What internet speed should I order? - 1
I'm looking at up to 3Mbps for $29.99 per month or up to 15Mbps for $34.99 per month, before taxes and fees. I don't want to pay for more than I need, but I want to have enough speed to do what I need to. I'm a college student and I watch lectures online streaming and I have to download and upload homework assignments as well. I also stream Netflix and connect my iPhone to Wi-Fi when I get home. Which would be better for me?
Looking at your requirements, 3Mbps is enough.
However, if you download very large files in the range of more than 2GB or so in less time, then go for 15 Mbps
- Why is my internet speed slow? So I have a netgear router and recently, anything connected to it has had really slow connection speed. My computer (which is wired) and my iPhone (which uses Wi-Fi) both can't load YouTube videos without constant buffering and low res. If it helps I'm with plusnet and just their standard internet service. Not sure what to do as I think I've tried everything

- My internet is slow, what should i do to speed it up? I have AT&T 2Wire modem and my download speed is like 1.91 Mbps and upload speed is 1.44 Mbps. The Ping is 28 ms. This really bothers me because I'm trying to stream a movie and it keeps on pausing to buffer. How can I speed it up?
