What is Other in iPhone on iTunes library?
What exactly is "Other" in iTunes? About 3 weeks ago I got a white iPhone 5 and backed it up from my old 3gs phone and when I plug it up "Other" takes up like 4.5 gigs, is there any way I could minimize this. I tried a couple of different way but none of them worked so far, also not willing to do a complete restore, getting everybody's numbers and loosing all my pics isn't worth it.

- Will downloading a new iTunes ruin my old iTunes library? I tried connecting my new iPhone 5 to my iTunes but it said that it wouldn't connect because my version of iTunes was really old (from 2010) and I never updated. It said I need to download a new version of iTunes (10.7 onwards) for it to be compatible with my iPhone. But my question is, IF I download a new version of iTunes, will all my old songs on my old iTunes disappear? Because if I had to re-download my whole library, I would seriously cry. That would take the rest of my life.
- What happens when your itunes library exceeds your iphone capacity? Is there some way to choose the files/songs you want to place on the iphone and the rest to leave off? Please inform - thanks!
- In itunes is there any way to select multiple songs to send to itunes library? I just mixtapes from datpiff and the only way i could put it in my library was to select manage songs manually under my devices. I didn't know that it would delete my songs from my iphone to put that on but it did. I only have songs from itunes, not beemp3 or datpiff.luckily all my songs are saved under the music file and its 319 songs. Is there any way i can select all them to put in my library? I know about the hold shift trick but its not working.
- How to transfer music from my iphone's music library to my itunes library? How do you take the music from your Iphone's music tab and put it on a playlist outside of the iphone section? My iphone broke and I need to transfer my music.
