What is the best plan for the iPhone 4S?
I have never owned a smart phone before, nor have I ever used one. But my phone is available for an update (on Verizon), and I found out you have to have a Data plan for it. The plans are:
-$30 a month for 2GB
-$50 a month for 5GB
-$80 a month for 10GB
Now I'm a YouTuber, so I plan on using the internet a little bit, and apps a lot. Including Siri. But I don't know how fast that stuff builds up, so I'm trying to figure out the best plan for me. I want more memory, but the plans are so expensive, it's ridiculous. So I figured I would ask someone who knows more about this stuff than me. So if you know, or have a recommendation, then please let me know. Thank you!
Also, how much do apps, Siri, and itunes take up? Because those will be my mainly used things. Mainly Siri, and apps.
Added (1). ALSO! Please TELL ME IF SIRI IS PART OF THE DATA USAGE! I'LL USE THAT AND APPS MOSTLY PROBABLY!
If you use it only for browsing means use 2gb plan
or want to download means use 5gb plan
or u always will be on phone means use 10gb plan
2GB for $30/month is plenty for those things you mentioned. I used Youtube, Facebook, Safari ect.everyday and have the 2GB plan and I never go close to the limit. Only 5% of the users with the 2GB plan go over the limit.
- Will the sprint iPhone Forever plan or a similar plan be available later this year? I don't have enough money right now and it expires soon, but I'm asking because it's a great deal and I don't want to miss out on it. Obviously you can't know for sure, but has anyone paid attention to previous years, and/or can you make an educated guess?
- Will I be able to unlock my iPhone with a home phone plan instead of a wireless plan? I don't have a wireless plan with AT&T but I have a home phone plan does that count towards unlocking requirements? And also can I use a mildly cracked screen as a replacement screen on my iPhone?
- What is the best individual iPhone plan? I'm looking into getting an iPhone. I want an individual plan with unlimited texing and data. I don't really talk on the phone that much so that doesn't really matter but I do text a lot and use the internet. Since I'm on a plan by myself, I don't want to pay too much, so I'm looking for a somewhat reasonable cheap plan, that is able to accommodate my personally needs like unlimited texting and data.
- Is the Verizon edge plan a good plan for me? I have the iPhone 4 and really want to upgrade to the 5c or 5s --not sure yet. Anyway, I also would want to upgrade to the 6 when it comes out. Should I get the edge plan so I'll be able to upgrade it or should I wait all the way until the 6 comes out?
