What is the best texting app to use?
I want a texting app that will send messages to phones without them having to have the same app. It doesn't have to have calling; that would just be the icing on the cake. I do not like textfree by pinger, therefore, don't even suggest it.

Doesn't work that way, you either need the app otherwise you need a contract / plan to use sms (or imessage which works that way)
