What is the minimum Mac required for creating an iPhone app?
I'd like to try my hand at creating iPhone Apps. I'm looking on Craigslist to purchase a Mac, but I'm overwhelmed with all the choices? I'm looking to spend as little as possible. I'm also not very familiar with Macs, so am pretty clueless when it comes to knowing what model I need to start creating iPhone apps.
Hi the first issue here is learning C ++ to do the programming. The apple products all use unix one and only true best operating systems years before bill gates and his rubbish.
so you could also go the LINUX route also and produce apps for andriod as well.
so time to get learning a language buddy.
linux was designed to get unix on to the intel platform before it would work as it does now on a standard intel processor platform.
Mac Mini. They are pretty cheap and are good desktop computers.
Macs from 2007 onwards can be updated to the latest version of OSX. Specifically…
iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
Xserve (Early 2009)
The latest version of OS X will give you the latest version of Xcode which will give you the latest iOS SDK. From February all apps will need to be compatible with iOS 7 to be accepted for the App Store and so you will need the latest XCode/SDK.
- What's the best document creating app for iphone? What's the best document creating app for iPod touch 5g and for iPhone 5c (both running iOS 7). Which one runs the smoothest, best for inserting pics, and lots of text editing options that aren't hard to use.
- What's the minimum age to work at the Apple Store? Well, there's this Apple store that's (literally) across the street from where I live & (I'm 15) I want to start getting money on my own cause I don't wanna keep asking my mom for money when I go out with my friends and stuff & I heard that Apple employees get paid a lot. (I have the iPhone 5 & Mac & Macbook pro 13" so I know how to use the Apple products pretty well) so I was just wondering.
- What is the process of creating an iPhone app? I'm new to programming anything, but am keen to learn from the beginning if I have to. I just wanted to know what is the process I should follow to become an iPhone app developer? Should I start with C++, C#, or can I jump directly to Objective-C?
- We should all go on strike to raise the minimum wage to $50/hour? So we can feed our 10 children and keep our iphones and bmws and all live in bel-air. They need to show more respect for us burger flippers.
