What laptop should I get for college?
I'm getting a laptop for college and I'm not sure which one to get. I'm a pretty big gamer, movie watcher, and youtuber so I thought the Alienware would be my best bet. But I do have an iphone and I love what apple has been producing, so I would also think a mac book would help me out. I really only need a laptop for a couple online courses and to write papers. But I want a gaming laptop because the new consoles coming out don't look to great, especially the xbox one.
Please don't buy the mac… They have alot of problems with gaming. Go for the Alienware computure or any HP. I have the HP pavilion m6 and it runs very smoothly when playing games.
It runs the AMD processor and has 6 gigs of ram. Every game i've played on it has run well and never crashed. I play Dota 2, League, Darksiders, and a ton of Steam games. So yeah i recommend this laptop. I have also used it for School and videos.
Good luck.
p.s. I got at Best buy last year. The price on it was about $650.So take a look around there.
Peace
- Which computer should I get for college? I'll be going into engineering. I've traditionally been a windows person, but I'm thinking about getting a Mac, especially since I got an iPhone about 7 months ago and I love it. I also am thinking about getting a Windows 8 tablet/iPad, since they look cool, but i don't know if they are as capable as laptops are. What do you think?
- What tablet should i buy for college? - 1 I have a Macbook Pro and an iPhone 5. That's why I was thinking of getting the iPad 5 when it comes out in the summer. But what other tablet is best for college? I was also thinking about the Galaxy Note 10.1 because of the pen… What about the Nexus 10? Powerful and cheap, but no stylus and laggy. Transformer Prime? Pretty good, I haven't heard anything horrible so far. Any other tablets?
- What's the best laptop for an incoming college student? I'm going to college this fall and I'm torn between a laptop like the dell xps 13 or the Macbook air 13'. I really like the touchscreen option for the dell, but I like apple products, even though I've only ever used an iPad and iPhone. I might use products like photoshop and blendr for fun. I'm so torn. Are MacBooks easy to get used to? Is a touch screen helpful? Which laptop do I get?
- What laptop or desktop would you recommend to a college freshman? I have an hp laptop, an Asus transformer 300t tablet and iPhone 5… Any recommendations, I want to maybe upgrade my laptop to a different one with a more attractive look and better performance.
