What part of the iphone 5 goes a different colour if it has water damage?
Can you make it go back to its normal color?
Look inside the charging port really close… There's a tiny strip that is originally white but turns red if there's been water or liquid damage.
There are 3 stickers, one inside the headphone jack, one on the sim tray area, and another inside (probably near the battery). They are chemical stickers and will not change color.
A tab underneath the battery. It turns red. There's no hiding it or covering it up for warranty reasons because if you could I would have done it. I asked and tried every way you can think of & there's just no way.
Obviously you can't change it back if its water damaged. Do you really think they would not have thought of that?
- My iphone has water damage? - 1 I dropped my iphone 4 in the sink and it was literally in there for two seconds but none of the speakers work. The phone still works perfectly but i can't even talk on the phone because i can't hear anything. I know the apple insurance that i have doesn't cover water damage but how much would it cost me to have it fixed? Will they give me a whole new phone or just fix it?
- My iPhone 4s has recently recovered from water damage, will i experience some issues? My iPhone 4s was dropped in a pool last weekend, two days after it recovered and was working like normal. Today i started experiencing some problems with the speakers, they tend to work and then not work and then work again. I was wondering what will be some consequences or other issues i might experience and how to solve my speaker problem.
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
