What plan to get for an iPhone 4s?
I'm getting rid of my 4th gen iPod and getting an iPhone 4s. I don't know anything about Wi-Fi or internet but i've heard the 100mb plan will mean I have little internet. Once the 100mb runs out, will I still be able to connect to Wi-Fi? Is the amount of 1S00mb the amount of 3g I can use a month?
Yes you are still able to use Wi-Fi internet after your 100 mb runs out. The 100mb IS considered little if you go on the internet alot, but it's enough. All that 100 mb means, is that you can go on the internet when you are NOT connected to Wi-Fi, so when you aren't home. When you are home, it does NOT use up any of your 100 mb cause you have your Wi-Fi. And when your 100 mb DOES run out, you definitely ARE to still able to use Wi-Fi to go on internet.
- Will the sprint iPhone Forever plan or a similar plan be available later this year? I don't have enough money right now and it expires soon, but I'm asking because it's a great deal and I don't want to miss out on it. Obviously you can't know for sure, but has anyone paid attention to previous years, and/or can you make an educated guess?
- Will I be able to unlock my iPhone with a home phone plan instead of a wireless plan? I don't have a wireless plan with AT&T but I have a home phone plan does that count towards unlocking requirements? And also can I use a mildly cracked screen as a replacement screen on my iPhone?
- Is the Verizon edge plan a good plan for me? I have the iPhone 4 and really want to upgrade to the 5c or 5s --not sure yet. Anyway, I also would want to upgrade to the 6 when it comes out. Should I get the edge plan so I'll be able to upgrade it or should I wait all the way until the 6 comes out?
- Is it cheaper to get a new iPhone on a plan or buy it unlocked and add a cheap plan? I can either buy the phone for $250 and pay a monthly $80 plan with data for 2 years or purchase the unlocked phone $800 and pay $30 - $50 a month - I might not get data but it wouldn't be a big deal to me, I'm just trying to find a deal thats not ridiculously expensive cause I can't really afford too too much right now. Which would be better?
