What's more accurate the mirror or a normal camera when it comes to how you look?
So I've been confused for a long time now, I feel like I don't know how I look. In the mirror I look good, like really good. But on the camera, I kinda look like another person, my jaw is a little crooked as well as my lips, and eyes are two different sizes. How is that possible? Does that mean that people see my crooked jaw etc, or is it the camera that makes my face ugly? I'm using an iPhone X as my camera. Whenever I take a picture of someone else they look normal, but me I look like Zid from ******* Ice Age on camera. I honestly don't even know anymore. What's more accurate?
You're used to seeing yourself in a mirror. So when you look in a mirror, it's a familiar face. When you look at a non-inveted image, you see a face you almost never see. You see this face less often than you see your friend's faces. So it is no longer a familiar face. Thus you notice the imperfections. This is very normal.
You've been reading too many fairy tales such as "Mirror mirror on the wall who is the beauty of them all"
The mirror is inverting your face so when you look at a camera you aren't used to seeing your face normal. Also when you look in a mirror the lighting is typically very flattering and the phone doesn't pick it up as well.
- Why do I look more unnatractive on iphone camera than the mirror? I was looking at myself in the mirror and than I looked at myself in the iPhone camera and I looked prettier in the mirror than on the iPhone camera/front camera Does anyone else feel this way
- Which is more accurate: mirror or video? - 1 I look pretty decent in the mirror and I can take really nice close up pictures. But, a couple days ago, my friend videotaped me on her iPhone and I looked really bad. But, everyone else looked the same. Could lighting have something to do with it? Which one would you trust more? Pictures, videos or mirrors?
- Which is more accurate a mirror or camera? - 1 Hi! I'm a 15 year old boy and when I look in the mirror I look pretty good. Today I recorded my face with the iPhone 4 camera and I looked really horrible. (X I laughed at how ugly I looked in the recording but now I'm worried. Is that how others see me or is the mirror more how other people see me?
- Which is a more accurate representation of yourself? Mirror or Camera? Whenever I look into a mirror I like what I see very much, but when ever I take a picture of myself using my IPhone 6 camera it comes out looking weird and stuff. Is it just the camera or is that how I actually look?
