What's the extra charge for using iTunes?
Everytime I buy an app from the app store from my iPhone, I get charged the 'app' charge and then on my statement I could get charged anything between 6-8 euros described as a 'finance purchase charge'
What in earth is this?
Every app I buy is costing tons extra. Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm living in Ireland, and use AIB Visa card.

Added (1). I should add that this is nothing to do with interest charged or the card being overdrawn.
For example. If I had a credit card that was zero on the 1st of the month why would there be a charge of 6-8 euros each time I use the app store through the month?
That's just the interest on your unpaid balance. Pay your credit card in full each month, or pay the interest.
It has absolutely nothing to do with iTunes.
- Will using my iPhone's hotspot cost extra money? I have an iPhone 4s (which is up to date on all IOS updates) and I have the unlimited data plan at AT&T. I'm leaving for a road trip tomorrow, and I wanted to turn the hotspot on so I could use that Wi-Fi on my laptop during the trip so I won't get bored. It says I need to set up an account for it, which I will do later… But would any extra charges be added to my bill?
- Will T-Mobile charge me extra for texting out of the country? One of my friends is in Egypt. She texted me last night and I hesitated to reply because I was afraid that they would charge me like $20 since its Egypt. I ended up replying once and now i'm afraid. My mom will kill me if they charge a lot. However, I have unlimited texting and she texted me from an app which is from the iphone i think… Will they charge me?
- Will I be charged extra for using 3G? I don't have a data plan. On my iPhone, i've turned off the cellular data in the settings. But 3G was on and I didn't know. I did use internet these past few days in places with low Wi-Fi reception. I'm not sure if I ended up using the 3G or Wi-Fi. Is it even possible to use 3G if cellular data is turned off? Suppose I did use 3G, will my phone company charge me extra, even though cellular data was off? I'm really confused about this.
- Using my Spring iPhone in another City? Any Extra Charges? I live in Los Angeles and I'm going to be visiting New York soon so I was wondering if using the Internet, texting or calling would result in extra charges on my cell phone bill?
