What's the simplest way to back up iTunes library? - 1
I haven't updated my iTunes in a while. I updated my iPhone and when I would reconnect it back to my computer, iTunes didn't recognize it. Now, I don't want to lose any of my library when I update to the newest version of iTunes, so what would be the simplest way to back up my library? Pretty please!

You won't lose your library if you update to the latest version.iTunes installer will automatically backup your existing library. But if you really want to make sure, in Windows, go to Music>iTunes. Copy the iTunes folder. That's your existing library.

I tried connecting my new iPhone 5 to my iTunes but it said that it wouldn't connect because my version of iTunes was really old (from 2010) and I never updated.
