What should i do? Any advice?
2 days ago this guy told me i'm cute, cool, i can dress, and i have a funny laugh. So i said awwe thanks with a kissy face, and he said welcome and i said mhm. I'm the type of girl who always likes having the last word and after i have the last word the next day to not have to text first if i have the last word. So anyways the next day after this he texted me wassup and i said oh nothing and we were just talking about christmas and are family hertiage and stuff like i'm from the carribbean so i was telling him all about it and hes from illinios and we were just talking so at the end of the convo he said that i'm a forgien but in a flirtious way because thats the way that he likes to flirt mainly with me and i said no i'm not because i was born in delaware and he said oh and i said yeah and so we were talking on kik and then my iphone 4 is kinda messing up so it said he sent me a message saying wer you goin… And so i checked and it wasn't their, maybe it was my eyes because we were talking at 12 am and i usually stay up till 11 and so i checked over and over but he did read my message saying yeah. So if my eyes really did see it, should i text him first? Or should i wait because i really hate having the last word and texting first the next day because i look desperate and i'm not even sure if i really honestly like him. But if my eyes were playing games on me did i do something wrong? Am i boring and just a piece of trash? And he doesn't like me no more because i'm not the type of girl he thouoght i was over text? Btw we talk at school and mess around and stuff and he talks about thristy girls and i don't want to be considered a thristy girl? Btw how to recover this messgae off of kik would be even better.
I really suggest you add some space between sentences. Walls of text are internet's #1 enemy.
I strongly suggest you drop your self labelling and I honestly have no idea what you mean by "have the last word the next day" so i'll try to make sense of it.
I'm not much of a social actor so I don't know much about why it matters to "text first" or "have the last word" from a practical perspective, but I suggest you separate the people from the problem and address that problem rather than running around it in circles questioning whether you are trash -- you are not, you are human, humans are not trash.
Think what bothers you the most, then address it by either talking to him and verifying what you think is indeed the case. I feel there's a sense of miscommunication between you two, caused by over dramatization of everything. Drama is fine, but it won't solve your problems.
In all honesty, all I can advise is talk to him about what's bothering you, or shrug off things that are trivial. If you said something silly/confusing that you can't reason about, shrug it off and continue on with your life. I don't think accomplish much by worrying about such things.
Sorry but I can't think of much more to say.
I'm going to go all big sister on you and for that, I apologize. Perhaps it isn't what you want to hear. However, I've been the girl who flirts and talks to guys with the hope that I'm going to be loved or, at the very least, paid attention to… And it doesn't work out that way. Boys in middle or high school are usually interested in just one thing. And if you don't deliver, they want nothing more to do with you. May I suggest that you choose who you speak to and text with more carefully? This boy doesn't sound like the type of guy you want to waste your time on. And that is exactly what you're doing. You're wasting your time on him. Who cares what he thinks? Who cares what he says? ESPECIALLY if he can dismiss you over a stupid text. As far as he's concerned: What is his name again? Who? Oh I'm sorry, I don't know anybody by that name. That will give him the right message.
- Thinking of an Iphone but used to a pullout keyboard. Any advice? FYI: We all have strengths… Being tech savvy is NOT one of mine. Also considering an Ipad mini, but I wish it was a phone as well. Any suggestions welcomed!
- New Dell Technician. Any Advice on how to be productive? I have been working for Dell for 1 month and I want to be able to be very productive. Some of the things we do are. Document our time worked, miles traveled, and of course fix computers. I have downloaded a few iPhone apps that are helping me keep track of my mileage and time. I also have excel worksheets to document these things. Is there anything else I can do to be more productive? The reason I ask is because I was off by 18 hours last week. Advice please!
- Iphone 5 is out of charge too fast! Any advice? Its going out of charge within 3 hours, so I have to constantly have it on charge! What's wrong with it? I have already tried all those tips to reduce brightness, close apps etc but nothing Could it be due to old charger? Or that my phone is old?
- I'm Having Audio Problems With My iPhone 4S. Any Advice? I've recently been having some trouble when it comes to using headphones on my iPhone 4S. I've been using a pair of Bose QuietComfort's, and for some reason, they have started only playing audio through one ear. I played around with them for a bit, and the problem remained. I tried a multitude of different ear bud sets, and I got the same problem. Has anyone else encountered the problem? And if so, how do I fix it? Any help would be great.
