What supporting docs do i need to make an insurance claim for iphone?
Hello I'm thinking of insuring my phone (and maybe my bike) and since i never had insurance. I would like to know what supporting documents I will be needing in case of making a claim.
Eg. Do i need proof of purchase? Cause mine is a replacement from apple and they didn't provide me anything.
Give the insurer a call and ask them what they'd need in this situation. They certainly won't accept the risk without some form of proof (you may need to be back to Apple for this).

- Why any of my iPhone apps are not supporting my phone? I got iPhone 3G and I need a few apps on my phone, for some reason any iPhone apps are not working. They are asking for updated software version. Is apple forcing me to buy a new iPhone? Or am I missing something here? My iPhone software is up to date iOS 4.2.1according to iTunes
- Water damaged iphone (insurance claim)? I filed a claim with Asurion through verizon, I was required to pay 169$ for a replacement phone. the problem is that troubles me is that the only problem with the phone is that after it dropped in the water, the screen has a drip mark that won't go away, it won't turn off and there are some tones that don't play.other than that it works fine. what I'm asking is if the claim is still legitamate. It's still noticeable damage, but is it claim worthy noticeable damage?
- Is it illegal to break a tv then get insurance and claim? If someone's kid breaks a 42" tv and there's no house insurance and you're moving, is it illegal to get house insurance then claim on that or say the movers broke your tv? And how can I report someone I don't like who is going to do that next week and I have proof it's broke and the child is 2 and has told me how she broke it. I really really hate this guy and he stole 2 of my iPhone 4's, I really want some payback!
- IPhone 5 insurance claim I dropped a weight on the back of my iphone 5 accidently, the phone now has a dent on the back and can't be repaired by a local phone repair shop. I have taken out insurance on it which includes accidental damage. Should I tell the truth or will they be fussy about it?
