Although powered by an ARM class CPU capable of running at upwards of 667MHz, the iPhone… Runs at 412MHz with its 128MB of memory clocked at 103MHz for power consumption and operating temperature reasons.
The OS is powered by BSD Unix. OSX is based on Darwin BSD, so it's a safe bet that the iPhone is, also. In fact, if you jailbreak your iPhone, you can get a Unix prompt and enter Unix commands.

- Who knows anything about music technology/music making computer software? So I basically made a few different iPhone recordings; Voice, two guitar riffs, piano. And I would love to put them all together, I want to make music! Anyone have any idea of safe, preferably free (super broke) music technology software I can download? To mix, add, mess around with different sounds and tracks?
- What are some good persuasive essay topics about technology? I'm writing a persuasive essay for my college English class and I want to do it about technology, well something in that broad category. I'm really techy and love computers, video games, etc… I was thinking something like "are video games bad for you?" or "is the iPhone really the best smartphone?" or "Which is better: Windows or Mac?"
