What would restoring my iPhone do?
I was trying to download the new ios, and it turned off my phone, and now saying I have to connect to iTunes. When I did that, it was telling me to restore it. Will I loose all my data? And if so, what can I do to get out of this! My phone won't let me do anything until I "restore" it. I'm scared to loose everything!
Before it updates when using a computer iTunes does a back up so when you restore your phone after iTunes has put the latest iOS on it will ask you if you want to restore the last back up it did or start as a new iPhone. Choose restore and all your files will be put back onto the phone.
It will restore all your setting to factory settings. As for your data, it is all stored in iTunes so after you restore just sync with iTunes to get all of it back.

However, though iPhone uses quite a different storage mechanism, still you can recover deleted or lost data (such as text messages, contacts, photos etc) with a third party specific iPhone data recovery software called Tenorshare iTunes Data Recovery. - Would restoring my iPhone unblock any blocked numbers? All of my iPhone contacts have been bloked I have a k9 app on my computer and a find my iPhone app and the app store is disabled I need to know if restoring the iphone would unblock all the blocked numbers if I tried calling them after restoring it?
- Would restoring my iphone to another iphones settings change the imei? Basically i bought a phone from cex about 2 weeks ago and one of the buttons has stopped working. I went into the store and they said they could not fix it because the imei's were not the same. Could i have changed it by restoring it to my old iphone's setting via the restore feature on itunes?

Okay i have an iphone & my dad pays my bill for my phone & i went over my data 3 times & he said tht thts crazy & hes going to call to see how i went over it. So would the people at at&t jus say the data was used on safari or would they tell my dad everything i was on? Like the websites?
