What's a good camera for recording video?
Me and a couples friends decided to make a YouTube channel and are in need of a new camera since all we've used right now is my iphone 6. But we wanted to get an actual digital recording camera. We want one with good quality, something under $500. Preferably Nikon or Canon.
You also need lights, audio like a digital audio recorder, microphones, tripods and video editing software.
Newbie Myth: A expensive, high-tech camera will make up for lack of experience. FALSE.
Do not blow your budget on just the camera. You need other things as well.
Look at the Canon Vixia RF500 - $250. 64 gig SD card: $50.
Zoom digital audio recorder: $99.
Movo lavilear microphone: $30
The correct tool for capturing video is a digital camcorder. Here are some of the cheapest decent examples of one.
- When I sing I sound good in my head but on recording it doesn't sound as good? I understand why this is but I want to know if it is because my iPhone recording quality isn't good. If not how do I actually listen to how others hear me sing.
- What's a good video camera for recording singing/dance videos? What's a good video camera for recording HD singing/dance videos? I sing and dance, but I feel that my iPhone wouldn't really be good enough to do the job. What's a good video camera under $400? Also, what's a good video/movie editing program?
- What is the best bang for your buck video camera for retro style filming at 24 fps, 4K resolution, and no camera judder? Below $1,250? I use an anamorphic adapter lens for an iPhone 6s Plus(+filmic pro) and while the footage is 10 times better than basic iPhone footage, I can't help but notice the jerkiness of edged objects at 24 frames even when I'm holding the phone as still as I can. I've experimented with different frames, shutter speeds, ISO
