Where does the old iOS go after you upgrade your iPhone?
Currently my iPhone is running on iOS 8 and i'm planning to iOS 9 since it has be officially revealed by Apple.
I want to know do they save the old files of the previous version of iOS (iOS 8.4 in my case) in phone's memory?
If not do the old files get deleted?
Good programs delete the unecessary files and tidy up after themselves. Not all programs do this
It is replaced with the new one.
IOS 9 would overwrite iOS 8.4.
Of course data used in apps & whatnot would be saved & restored in iOS 9 but the actual OS would overwrite the older version. IOS 9 continues the latest trend for iOS updates of being smaller over all so you would regain space after the update
- When you sync your iphone to your computer does it copy everything onto your pc? I have broke my iphone to the point where it is un repairable, i only sync my iphone the other day to my pc does this mean everything what was on my iphone was copied and saved to it? Or have i lost everything?
- What would you do if you were watching your favorite show, and your 20 year old kid turned off the TV so that you couldn't watch it? I pay all the bills at the house. I normally watch AHS once a week with my kid. This week, she told me to go watch it in my own room. I told her my TV wasn't working and we would just have to watch it in her room. She turned off the TV so that I couldn't watch it. Then, she pompously pulled out her iPhone and proceeded to watch it on her iPhone. What would you do if this happened to you?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Does the old iphone 3gs auto backup evertime you plug in to your phone to your computer? I had an old iphone 3gs in 2010 and would plug it in but i don't know if anything got backed up, i'm trying to get a new ipad now in 2015 since its been so long since i've used apples products, trying to see if that will restore all my old info on my itunes account music etc…
