To make iPhone apps you need to learn Objective-C. This could cost some omney to learn. And developer accounts for apple are 99.99 per year.

IPhone apps are written in Objective-C using the Cocoa Framework. The language itself isn't too hard to learn- it's a variant of C, similar to C++. Cocoa itself is a very nice Framework- closer to.NET than the standard Windows API.

  • Would playing The Sims in another language be a good way to learn that language? I play The Sims a lot anyway. There's a lot of volcabulary like household objects, emotions, everyday tasks etc This wouldn't be my only way of learning btw. I also have a learning French iphone app and a friend who is fluent.
