Why are many teenagers my age are so spoilt?

Most people at my school have iphones or at least expensive looking phones and half the time they can't take care of it with broken screens and dropping it.

Also many students at my school were given laptops i didn't get one they have been broken and damaged so much since we got them and most of the time it is because of the students fault.

And I overhear a lot of people in my grade talk about mooching off their parents like brats and sulk when they don't get the money they want.

I thought I was spoilt. But then I get to high school and I'm surrounded by lazy mooches who never stop to get something and when they do get it they blow it all in an hour (money) or damage/lose it in a week (electronics, other stuff)

Focus on your own problems.

One day they'll realise the way they act.

Because either they are rich or their parents are drug dealers OR their parents are to soft.
I will give my children tuff love make them work for what they want. Because a spoilt teenager would be a headache.

These people have not been taught the value of money or the way you have to work really hard to get stuff. Don't worry they will fall to earth with a thud when they have to make it on there own.normally kids that get plied with the newist expensive gadgets are the ones whose parents chose careers over bringing up their own children and throw money at them to stop the guilt. Just appreciate your own parents and life and remember happiness isn't gauged by what you have as in material goods, it is the people you have that surround you

It depends what your definition of 'spoilt' is.
It's almost normal to have iPods and phones in primary school now- even though I don't understand the use of it at that age.
Laptops are also compulsory for many schools now, so it's not unheard of that students bring laptops and tablets to classes now.

But remember as a general tip; there will always be people more spoilt and less spoilt than you. But you'll usually only tend to notice people that you show distaste towards.

Just be happy with what you have (which seems to be the way you're going now), and for those who remain lazy- they'll pay the consequences later on in their lives.

Going into life not spoiled is a good thing, they are gona suffer when they are on their own, they don't know the value of money and that it takes hard work ti get that money, where you can be proud and say you're not spoiled, you gona take much more care of your things and money, and come further than that spoiled bratz
