Why aren't I receiving emergency alerts?
I have an iphone and it has snowed in our area heavily. In my settings, the emergency/ government alerts are turned on. I didn't receive the alert, but luckily my brother did. Why didn't I get them?
Either…
1… You have a defect phone
2… Your phone is not defective, but rather experiencing software or hardware issues
3… Your settings are incorrect
4… Your wireless carrier has issues
Whatever the reason… Call your wireless carrier and report the issue. By FCC Federal Law, you have the right to receive these alerts… And depending on the alert, you MUST receive them (as a citizen and the option can't be turned off---presidential alerts, civil alerts, etc)
- Why don't I receive emergency alerts on my iPhone 5c? I have gone to settings>notifications and turned on emergency alerts, but I've never received them. My friends also have iPhone 5c/5s and it works for them. I've tried turing it off and turning off my phone, then turning on my phone & turning it on again but it doesn't work. Can someone help?
- Why don't I receive alerts or a notification when I receive a text and I already checked my settings? I adjusted my setting and even put the ringer and notifications on and put the volume and ringer on and I receive no alert, no pop up, alert or notification when someone texts me. Why? This is the iPhone X! I went to the cell phone/ carrier store and they didn't help me. They said to go to the apple store or check the settings. I already adjusted the settings. So what do I do now?
- Why don't I get amber alerts on my iphone? I have an iPhone 5c and I don't get the alerts when there's an amber alert. I have it turned on but I don't get them. I have an iPhone 5c on virgin mobile
- Why don't email alerts show on my iPhone? I just set up my phone yesterday do I'm new to it. Basically I logged into my Gmail account on the Mail app but for some reason new emails only appear when I go into the app and refresh the page manually. My mum has an iPod touch so I know that you can get them. I went into settings > notifications > mail and changed it so that the alerts should appear but they don't… It's an iPhone 4S if that helps.
