Why can't I buy Mario Gotze in manager mode fifa 14 iphone?

In manager mode on fifa 14 for iPhone whenever I search there name on the transfer it says there's no player called mario gotze. I tried using the o with the 2 dots on top and that didn't work either. I've tried spelling his name so many times and it just always say no player found. And its not because they aren't listed for transfer since many other players that aren't for transfer can be found. I also have this problem with other players. So basically to sum up my problem I can't find players when I search them in manager mode
