Why do people hate on the iPhone 5 so much?
The galaxy S3 does not blow it out of the water. The Galaxy has a bigger screen, SD card slot. The iPhone 5 is built better. They will both run on LTE, have basically the same speeds, the iPhone's camera will be just slightly better. Besides the screen size, it seems more like a battle of iOS vs Android, as how the phones perform will be extremely similar.
People wil hate on something regardless. I've never had an Android phone, but as a iPhone user I do hate the limitations for customizing your phone and I'm not jailbreaking it. Even with the restrictions with Apple, I still prefer it over other phones because I know it will last and is built amazingly.
Hardware wise, they are similar although the iPhone 5 is still a bit too small in my personal opinion. I have owned both an iPhone (4S) and an Android phone (S3) and prefer Android due to the ability to customize the device. While iOS is easier to learn, once you get your Android configured the way you want it, it is easier to use because you can optimize it for what you like to do. For a long time one of iPhone's biggest advantages was its selection of apps, but today any app that is worth having is available for Android too. (and usually cheaper on Android) There's a large segment of the population that the iPhone is well suited for- entry level smartphone users who want something that is easy to use, does an average to good job on everything, and is next to impossible to mess up. Others, like me, like to have the ability to customize how the software operates the device in order to optimize it for what we do most. More complicated, but we ultimately get far better performance out of a device that is theoretically similar in capability. Apple is the jock who hangs out at the gym all day and goes out for every sport. Because he's in such good shape, he does well overall. Android can take that same approach if he likes, or he can decide which sport is his favorite and concentrate on that so come gametime, he is the best player on the field.
Simple, cause iPhone 5 is just like a iPhone 4s long screen version.
what do people care on its slightly weight loss, and increased speed, if the 4s is faster enough.

People are tired of people asking stupid questions about the Iphone 5 before any information was released on it. In 6 months there will be more stupid questions about the Iphone 6.

- Why do so many people hate on beats by dre? I paid 350 and the sound quality is amazing on my iphone 4s. People say they are a waste of money, but the people who say that is because they can't afford them. The design of the headphones are great so stop hating on them because you know you test them out every time you go to best buy haha.
- Why do people like to hate on iPhones? Almost every video comparing an iPhone to an android or a windows phone. The opposing phone always wins and all of the comments are like "anythings better than Ishit" like seriously… What's so bad about iPhones and apple products.
- Why do people hate the iPhones so much? If an android user sees an iPhone user, the android lover says "why would you buy an iPhone?! IPhones suck I have the galaxy S3 so that means the iPhone sucks" Why? Why should people be concerned about what kind of phone other people have? Why can't THEY use their phone, and let other people use their iPhones?
- Why do people hate the Iphone? I've had my I5 since it came out and I love it I don't get why some people like the galaxy to me its a huge phone with silly features like the turn your head video feature. Its still not a bad phone but I just can't get over how huge that phone is and to think how people complain years ago that phones need to be made smaller, I think my phone is the right size and shouldn't require me to use both hands to use it it is fast and doesn't drop calls in my area.
