Why do people think I'm rich while I'm not?
First of all, I'm 17 and live in indonesia, so maybe you guys will think my story is a bit strange.
Okay, I'm getting curious why do people always think I came from a wealthy family, but the fact I'm average. My classmates thought so. My family(grandpa n grandma, uncle, aunt) also thought so. I have no idea why do they thought so.
when my parents were first married, they start living like a word of 0. They live in a state of deprivation. As the time goes by, the economic condition of them began to grow and even today, I believe that we're not rich but why do people think that we're.
I'll tell you the whole, not just mine but belongs to my brother sister and parents as well.
From what they could see:
I have 2 iphones, a macbook pro, 2 samsung galaxy w, 2 laptop (asus n compaq), 3 motorcycle (yamaha mio n yamaha mio soul, yamaha v-ixion), a car (nissan evalia A/T XV), a cozy house with 200m2 wide, a computer, 3 or 4 nokia phone, etc.
Oh ya, my uncle still owes my dad about $4000, and my grandpa owes my dad about $20000. With that they thought we're rich. Is that possible? The fact, when my grandpa owed to my father, mydad's money only left about $12000.
My parents always try to help people who need help even though we can't help them completely.
And me, In front of my friends, I always be me. If I thought something is expensive, I'll tell them that was expensive. And always not being wasteful. We always be what we're.
What do you think guys? Did you guys found any clue why do people think we're rich?

No idea but I wouldn't consider that even close to rich.
- Why do rich people hate it when you call them rich? I remember this one girl I new from school had a brand new iphone with an expensive case covered in jewelry. Someone said "Wow, you're really rich!" and she was offended.
- Why do people think you're rich if you have an iphone? I have an iphone6 and people at school ask me if I'm "rich." If you want an iphone 6, get something called a job and since when did owning a $700 phone make someone "rich?" It's not like my phone is covered in gold and diamonds.
- Why do people think that childfree people are immature and selfish? Marriage isn't living outside of yourself for another person? What about taking care of extended family?
- Why do people think I'm rich? Whydo people think I'm rich? I live in a bigger house(I have 5 siblings.) I have an iPhone. A lot of people do these days. I go to a private school. Honestly people are always telling me I'm a spoiled brat. Yes my dad does make a good amount of money, but he donates a lot of it to charity… I also don't get whatever I want, I have to buy it on my own, or wait for a birthday. Do you think I sound like a spoiled brat/rich? I'm sick of hearing this.
