Why does apple say British English instead of American English?
Why in the language selection tab on my iPhone does it list you can choose 'English' or 'British English' as your phone language. I take it when they say 'English' they mean 'American English'. How cheeky! It should be 'English' or 'American English'. The English language is from England not America, we created it! U cheeky bastards, Americans are very bad for using other people's ideas/objects as their own sometimes it's really irritating! Fakers!
More people speak American English than British English, by far. Nothing cheeky about it.
I agree (being from the UK probably means I'm biased, but who cares) I think all the phone companies should change it to say American or English
Who cares? Apple is an American company. People all over the world speak your language primarily as a result of Americans speaking your language, so it saves you the effort of having to learn other languages.
Did you expect the Brits coming to America 400 years ago to magically create a new language? They didn't "use anyone's idea," they just continued to use their native tongue throughout the generations. QQ less.
Typical arrogant Americans. And they wonder why so many people in the world hate them. They honestly seem to think it's jealousy!
Probably US got more citizens than UK. Meanwhile, the Apple is from US. IF you dissatisfy so, you can stop using Apple's product
- Why does my iPhone 5 say LTE instead of 4g? I bought an iPhone 5 and it's connected to T-Mobile. At first it had of course the bars and it said T-Mobile 4g. Now it still has the bars and says T-Mobile but instead of 4g it says LTE on the top left corner. Why is that?
- Why does my iPhone 5 say 3G instead of 4g? I recently got my iPhone 5 for Christmas, and it's just now the beginning of April. It's always said 3G, instead of 4g, which I thought was normal. I was with a couple of friends yesterday, and she had a white iPhone 5 just as me, except she had AT&T and hers said 4g. I have sprint. Is there a way to get 4g? Does it cost money to have 4g? Everywhere I have went with no Wi-Fi it has always said 3G, never 4g. I want 4g though!

- Why does it say imessage instead of text message? I have an iphone and whenever i txt my cousin who was a recent iphone user, but now she uses htc, it says imessage instead of a regular txt message so she doesn't receive my texts.
