Why does everyone have an iPhone? - 1
I remember back in the day when they first came out, they weren't that common sight. Now it's like everyone has one. Aren't they expensive or did the cost go down since then? Is it because back then they were expensive but because of the contracts established with their provider they couldn't upgrade till they renewed? Or lack of priorities?
Simply because… THEY ARE AWESOME!
Free upgrades or huge discounts from upgrades, or simply, they pay for it.

They're just as expensive as other smartphones (typically $199 on contract, $600 off contract)
Reason they weren't popular is because no one felt the need for smartphones back then. Now almost everyone has smartphones, and iPhones happen to be popular (though the Galaxy S3 is taking over a lot of the userbase)
The Iphone has such a large reputation that it's the best but in reality it is not. People who can afford a smartphone that aren't very tech sabby will get an Iphone because it is easy to use.
Only Apple fans or people with more money than sense have iPhones…

- Why does everyone want an iphone 5? I honestly don't think apple would be as popular as it is if Steve Jobs was still alive. Like they say, an artist's work is more valuable when they're dead. I think people are just buying the iphone 5 because of that reason, but some people are buying more than 2. Why? Is the technology inside the phone advanced or something? I heard some people buy the phone to take it apart for the useful stuff inside, but why do they do that?

- Why does everyone I know with iphones have cracked screens? ? DROID > iphone. I have had so many people try to convince me that iphones are better, but I love my droid too much, lol. I used to be an apple snob, but iphones are overrated.
