Why does it say read on one & then on another it just says delivered?
On my iPhone when I'm iMessageing someone it just says delivered on it. But on my friends phone it says read at the time that i read it. And then on her phone she'll be iMessageing another person & it will also just say delivered? So I'm confused on how to get it to tell me when they read it or can i even make it like that?
Go to settings, then iMessage. Slide the button to "on" that says "send read receipts".
That should fix it!
- Why when i sent a text on iPhone to iPhone it doesn't say delivered? Okay so i sent a text on iMessage to my best friend but it didn't say delivered? And then when i called her it rang? What happened? Did she get the text? Is she ignoring me?
- Why does my iPhone 4 says Not Delivered on some of my texts? When I go to send a text it will say Not Delivered! But yet the other person usually does receive it so then it sends twice cause I usually hit retry. Does anyone know why it does this? And it doesn't happen all the time, just occasionally.

I have an iPhone 5s, and the messaging thing is being sorta odd… My friend and I got together and i sent her a smilie face to her iPhone, she had seen it but below the little message it said delivered. Why didn't it say read? Can you help me fix it?
- What does it mean when a text says Not delivered to a iPhone? This guy I work with and I been texting each other since July 5. I'm trying to text him through my iPod touch and the text keeps saying not delivered but when I text him from my Samsung illusion (android) cell phone it gets delivered. Did he block me from sending him texts from my iPod touch? Btw he likes me because I talked to him on Sunday, August 10.
