Why does my iPhone say headphones when you try to turn it up?

My iPhone4 says headphones when I try to turn it up and when people call I have to put them on speaker because you can't hear them talking when you put it to your ears. I've already tried restarting it but it didn't work?!

  • Why does my laptop say there's nothing new to import when I try to upload my photos and videos? I have a Toshiba laptop with a Windows 10 software. Whenever I plug in my iphone to transfer my photos and videos to my laptop, it says that there are no new items found to import. In reality, there are about 2,000 photos and videos on my iPhone that aren't on my laptop. It's only some photos that this happens with though. Like all of the photos in 2013. Any photos more recent are able to be uploaded but not most of the photos from that time period. How can I fix this?

  • Why does my iPhone 4 say there are headphones in when there isn't? I dropped the top of my iphone in water about an hour ago… And it is indicating water damage in the water damage indicator in the headphone jack. But, the only thing that seems to be wrong with it is that it says there's headphones in when there isn't. Is there anything that I can do to fix this? I have tried plugging in and unplugging headphones several times.
