Why does the iPhone 5 have a processor of only dual core 1.3 GHz and the Huawei Y5 a quadcore 1.3 GHz while it costs only 120 euros?

The iphone 5 was released over five years ago - the Y5 just last year…
For a given computing performance, prices halve around every 18 months (or performance doubles, for the same price); things change very rapidly, it's as simple as that.
Because the iPhone is more in demand regardless of it's capacity.
You're paying a big premium/much more for the privilege of having Apple's name on the iPhone 5.
Because Apple has convinced a segment of the population to buy their horrendously overpriced junk. Kinda' like the pied piper and the lemmings.
The iPhone, is made by Apple.
Why are you writing "sorry have to answer" on people's questions?
- Why are Apple still using dual-core CPUs and 1GB of RAM? Other top of the rnage phones like the S4 are rocking a 1080p 5"+ display, 2GB of RAM and a quad-core CPU and yet the iPhone 5 and 5s do not even have a 720p display and are still are dual-core and 1GB of RAM.
- Which is faster? A6 processor from apple, or 1.4 quad core Exynos? I want to know which one is faster, the appale iphone 5's processor (A6 ARM from apple) or the galaxy S' (1.4 quad core Exynos)?
- What's the difference between 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz? We recently got a new router, and it's got both 2.4 and 5 ghz capabilities. I don't know too much about routers: just enough to set them up. What's the difference between the two? If it helps, we'll be connecting iPhones, laptops, and TiVos.
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
