Why doesn't it make a noise when I get a Facebook notification on iPhone?

There's a noise when I get a message but not when I get a notification like when someone writes on my wall or something. I have it set to but it only does the noise if I upload a picture or something? Is anyone else's iPhone like this?

  • Why iPhone s earbud make loud buzzing noise? When I was playing music on my iPhone 5s using its earbud, suddenly it makes a loud buzz (nearly killed my ears). At first, I thought it was my phone, but when I unplugged my earbud, the sound works fine. And then I thought my earbud was the problem but when I tried to restart my iPhone, and plugged in my earbud, it works! Happened for a few times and I still don't know how and why it happened.
