Why doesn't the iPhone 7 have a headphone jack?
Did they forget it or something?
The point of that is to make the phone thinner.
Doesn't need it. "BlueTooth" also one less port to allow water in.
You can only connect headphones to an iPhone 7 via bluetooth.
They need to make money somehow
It's used to help with the phones water resistance, and it made room for the haptic feedback sensor for the home button, because that's no longer a physical button, also helping to improve the devices water resistance.
- Why won't the headphone jack on my iphone 5 work? I've tried different headphones and none have worked. I discovered that if i push the headphone in really hard and hold it there it will play music. Also i tried blowing into it and it made it play normally for a minute then the music started to fade. If you know any ways to fix it or how much it could cost to fix it that would be great.

- Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.
