Why haven't I received text messages?
So I needed my iPhone to be repaired so for a week I was phone-less with my SIM card obviously taken out of my phone. A week later and I have got a new phone and put my SIM card back into the phone. But no new messages have been received even though I know I have at least had a few people send me texts that didn't know my phone was off. Although if I text my phone now, I can receive messages, I just haven't got the ones from when my SIM was out.
Does anyone have any idea how to recover these messages?
No possible way. Happened to me and rogers couldn't recover it. When the sim is out, it is not being powered so the receiver is off so yeah. It's like a wall when its off, it bounces off and goes away.
- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- Viewing text messages not received Is their any way i can view text messages that i did not receive. I had a iphone and when i made the switch to android i was not able to receive text messages from iphone. I now fixed the problem. But is their a way to view the text messages i did not receive.
- Text messages not received after being abroad (iPhone)? I was in Australia for three months and brought my Verizon iPhone 4 with me, although it did not work at all for calls/texts I used it as an ipod and camera. I was excited when I landed in the US to turn off airplane mode and receive a barrage of texts/voicemails but absolutely none came through. I know some where sent because people facebooked me asking why I wasn't replying. Any way I can find these text messages or are they lost for ever?
