Why iphone is so expensive than other phones?

Why iphone is so expensive than other phones?

It actually isn't. What you find is that LG, HTC, Samsung, Nokia, and typically any other high end smartphone manufacturer prices their devices pretty close to the Apple iPhone.

Because it is better

Don't see why people think this is the case. If you look at the on/off contract prices for several other flagship phones their costs are equal or more than the iPhone. Eg. The Galaxy S series as well as the Google Play Editions of several phones.

  • Why is the iphone so much better than other smart phones? I'm not trying to start a fight here. It just seems like Apple has access to alien technology or something. I've been trying to help my dad with his Samsung stratosphere and the difference is staggering. Another thing worth noting is that any of my friends who have non iphone smart phones also carry their ipod touches around with them. That says something.
  • Why do people think new phones are expensive? I was tired of my iPhone 8 Plus so I just bought an iPhone XS, not the max version because I thought it was too big. But anyway, my bill is $28 a month and I put $200 down for the phone. Someone commented why would I buy an expensive phone. But I can pay $30 a month, it's not that much. Do you think the new phones are too expensive?
  • Why do people go crazy over the iPhone and other expensive cell phones? Some of those phones cost more than rent. I've never understood why someone would pay over $100 for a phone.
  • Why are Iphones so expensive than other smartphones in the market? Iphones are manufactured in China… So the manufacturing cost should be very low. Of couse, they have done a lot of R&D work… But so have other smartphone companies like Samsung, HTC etc While you can get other smartphones in the market with same features as in Iphones (or even more features than in Iphone), why are Iphones so overpriced?
