Why is my iPhone 5 lightning up all the time?

When I'm holding my phone and not touching the screen nor the home button, my iPhone turns on automatically to the lock screen. It did it twice and sometimes during the night. It's creeping me out. What's wrong with it?

It's telling you that you bought an overpriced piece of *** phone and that you should've stuck to a samsung galaxy or htc one.

Mine does that too. Then it will turn off and light up again to say I have a message. Maybe it's something like that?

  • Why does my iPhone shut off randomly all the time? I have an iPhone 5s and I have had it for more than a year now. As of recently, when I use it, I could be texting, snapchatting or watching youtube videos and out of nowhere with no warning, It just turns off. The apple logo comes on the screen and then It turns off again. It comes on and then turns off and it stays like that for about 10-30 minutes. I don't know why it's been doing this and it's getting really annoying.
