Why is that a dual core iphone faster than a quad core android phone?
Why is that a dual core iphone faster than a quad core android phone?
In general it is not, but it is the old story of comparing like with like.
The thing about Android is that there are so many devices out there across the whole spectrum of the market where iPhone are only high end, in terms of pricing anyway - the specification is actually comparatively mid-range. However, if you compare a £500 iPhone with a £60 Android device it should come as no surprise which comes out on top. Top end Android handset such as the Galaxy S blow anything from Apple completely out of the water in terms of sheer performance.
By faster I assume you mean that the iphone have much more smoother interface than the android ones does have. From what I have heard, the problem with android smoothness is that it isn't build to be fast to load graphics, textures etc. Androids main goal is to load programs, data, news fast and because of this comes the smooth graphical letdown. When you open up internet browser on both devices, you can see how iphones have problem to forward the news to the user as most of the screen is grey, but at the same time androids have loaded the page almost instantly.
- Why Iphone is faster than android phones? First of all, I'm NOT FANBOY! I have Galaxy s3 and my mother has Apple Iphone 4s. No matter what the hardware and the specs.her phone never EVER has delay or lags… I mean wtf? I have quad-core processor with 1gb ram. And that iphone has dual core processor… My GS3 should be twice as fast… But it isn't. Can someone please explain this to me. But in simple words, because i don't know very much about cell phones.
- Why are Apple still using dual-core CPUs and 1GB of RAM? Other top of the rnage phones like the S4 are rocking a 1080p 5"+ display, 2GB of RAM and a quad-core CPU and yet the iPhone 5 and 5s do not even have a 720p display and are still are dual-core and 1GB of RAM.
- Which is faster? A6 processor from apple, or 1.4 quad core Exynos? I want to know which one is faster, the appale iphone 5's processor (A6 ARM from apple) or the galaxy S' (1.4 quad core Exynos)?
- Is the iPhone 5's A6 Chipset a Quad Core? I don't get it. Some bloggers are saying it is while other bloggers are saying it's a dual core. But then again, why would Apple release a dual core phone?
