Why is the IPhone 5 so cheap in the USA?
I went browsing for a while, then I found out that in the USA. The Phones are really cheap. In Australia, the iPhone 5c 16GB cost about more than $700 dollars!
But in the USA, the 16GB one is about more than $500 dollars.
It's not cheap there, it's a blatant rip off because it only costs about £90 to make it and ship it half way around the world. It's not even like Apple phones are very good either, they're overpriced and overhyped cheap tat. Get yourself the Galaxy S4 instead, it's far superior.
Apple is based in america, if not that then i don't know. And thats still not cheap
From Virgin Mobile USA the iPhone 5C is only $450, maybe you should move to America to save money.
US 5c 16GB - $549 USD/$604 AUD
AU 5c 16GB - $673 USD/$739 AUD
It may come down simply taxes, import duties, etc.
