Why won't my iPhone 4 charge after water damage?
My middle button wasn't working either but I sat it in a bag of rice overnight and now it's working again, only problem is my phone won't charge. How can I fix that? It wasn't completely submerged a little bit of water just got inside the base piece.
Either it's still not fully dried out, or some of the damage is permanent. Leave it in the rice for another couple of days and see what happens.
Well water destroys electronics, so why do you think there may be an issue?
- Will my iPhone still work after water damage? It fell into a bucket of water last night and I can't turn the phone off because the screen is black. I can hear the phone ringing and vibrating, but can't see anything. I put it in a bowl of rice, is this fixable? Will the screen eventually work?
- Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
- IPhone water damage, won't charge? Hi so my mum dropped her phone down the toilet, she pulled it out straight away and dried it with a towel but it still worked perfectly fine but she did have it in and out of rice for about an hour, her phone now will not charge and just keeps flashing the charging symbol, we have it in rice now anyone have any ideas if it will still work?
- Iphone submerged in water, logic board has water damage? My phone was under water for 10 sec. Atleast and in my wet pocket for about 2 minutes. Led wouldnt turn off and power / lock button didn't work… Put it in rice and two days later i charge it apple logo pops up then writing pops up above the apple logo. Will the guy taking my phone to clean it out and try to fix it need my passcode? And will my contacts, apps, photos, music, internet history still be on my phone? Like when he fixes it turns and on and stuff?
