Why won't my iPhone open up a iMovie file sent from my Mac?

I made an iMovie on my mac and want it on my phone. I tried emailing and texting the iMovie to my phone and it says that 'Mail can't open this attachment'. How can I get it on my phone?

First, did you save your iMovie project? Because only iMovie can open those. Under File there's an export tab and lets you export your video as a normal video, and not as an iMovie Document

  • My sent folder is not showing all the emails I have sent. Why is this happening? This seems to be random, with some showing and others not. Since Thursday, nothing I've sent out is in the sent folder. More worrying, on my iPhone, the entire sent folder has been emptied.
