Why won't my iphone 4s play music off of chrome/safari in the background?
Was it the 6.0.0- 6.1 update?
What i usually do is go to youtube on the chrome app and click play on a song.wait for the first second to play then press home. I then proceed to double tap home to get to my multitasking, slide over to the orientation lock/back-play-forword/app(usually music). I press play and it won't play the youtube video's sound in the background. It usually always does.
i've tried turning it on and off and deleting all my multitasking apps in background.
Added (1). If i have the video running, but i click the power button, then i double tap home at my lock screen, press play, it will work. It still doesn't work when the app closed/in background.
Added (2). Music app and soundcloud both work in backround.
Because that's not allowed anymore.
I don't think you can play sound from any other app in the background than the music app
- YouTube won't play in background? IPhone 4? I have an iPhone 4 and I can't get my YouTube to play in the background like when I hit the home button it turns off or when I lock it and press play it will play from my album from iTunes. I use the YouTube app. How can I get it to work?
- Why won't songs play good on my iPhone 5 but play normal on iTunes? When I download music and import it to iTunes, They play fine and normal but as soon as i put them on my iPhone they sound scratchy or like if they were getting fast forwarded. I don't think it's my iPhone because I've put songs in it before but this just started happening today. What's the problem, How do i fix this?
- Why won't my iPhone play streaming videos on Safari continuously? I'm trying to watch Kilplix's game play stream at kilplix.blogspot.com and when it starts playing the stream it plays for about 7 seconds and then the screen goes black while playing the audio. Or it won't play neither.
- Why can't i play youtube videos in background/lock screen on my iphone anymore? I always used to be able to do this, is there any way to still do it? Or is there any way to get an older version of the app that will alow me to do it? And does anyone know why they stopped this function? Very frustrating!
