Wi-Fi connection with iphone 5 without sim card?
I must admit that I do not know much about the iphones or any other smart phones. I would like to purchase an iphone 5. I do not intend joining any plans. I have broadband Wi-Fi at home. Can someone tell me if I can surf the internet at home or at hotspots ( eg. Starbucks, McDonalds ) with an iphone 5 without inserting a sim card.
You should be able to yes.
Makes no sense to buy an iPhone to not use as a phone. Might as well buy the iPod touch instead if that's your intent. Much cheaper.

- Will cutting my sim card work to use as a micro sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it?
