Will 0.86 gb of data be enough to use iPhone gps?
I'm an on call nanny, and only have 6 days left of my plan. However, I just got a few jobs.
I only have 0.86gb of data left. And I will probably need my gps for a total time of like 1 hour between all the jobs.
I have an iPhone 6, and I use standard view.
0.86 GB of data will disappear in no time.
How difficult will it be for you to buy a standalone GPS device. You can find simple ones for as low as US $ 60. This way you can use the data of your iPhone for other necessary stuff (like Texting, Face time etc!)while driving.
- Would 300MB of data be enough for this kind of use? I have an iPhone 5 and I was wondering if I'd need any more than 300MB of data? I have Wi-Fi everywhere I go, the network in my area is terrible (0.01 Mbps). I've had my phone for a little over a week and I've only reached 7MB out of 3GB. HOWEVER, the 3GB plan is only $10 more than the 300MB plan… Plus, I have a trip coming up and I was thinking of using my phone as a GPS, but I don't know how much data I'll use. :\
- Is 300mb enough data for an iPhone? If I only use? Facebook, email, instagam… I don't see myself becoming a data whore I'm linked up to wiki at school 4 days a week, and have Wi-Fi at home. How much data do you iPhone users use every month?
- If I keep my data on but also use Wi-Fi will it use my data? I just got an iPhone from us cellular. I use Wi-Fi to save data, but I can't receive group messages if my data isn't on. If I keep my data on all the time, but use Wi-Fi, will it use my data? And if I keep both on will it use my Wi-Fi instead of data?
- Does using GPS on my iPhone 4s use up cellular data? I would like to use the Nike+ app while running with my iPhone 4s. If I do this will it use up some of my cellular data?
