Will apple replace my iphone 4s with a new one?

So my iPhone won't turn on and its not in dfu or recovery mode and its not recognized by computer and I called apple and they said that its a hardware problem and they said they will replace it with a new one they said take out the sim card and i did not need to bring the cords or anything does that mean i'm getting a refurbished one or a new one out of the box because they said it will be replaced which a new one and if its a refurb are all the outsides replaced or is it just cleaned.

Of course they will. Apple said they would, so they will. Apple has the best costomer service ever.

They'll replace it under warranty if it's hardware problem. If the stickers inside indicate it doesn't work because you got it wet then no they won't replace it.

A refurb is an item, much like the one you are going to hand them, that goes back to their shop and is fixed to work again. Sometimes these can be better- in that the problems with it have been worked out already. Or it can be bad when the product is still intermittently damaged. Generally this is given to you within your contract with your phone company, not the product manufacturer.

But for a warranty replacement you should get a brand-new in box product, and I would ask for nothing less since the item you bought was defective.
