Will I be able to 'unlock' my iPhone 5 next year?
I have an iPhone 5. Unfortunately, I'm moving to Europe. My iPhone is locked. I do not want to buy a new smartphone. I'm moving next summer, will there be an option to unlock the iPhone by then?
Depending on what carrier you have you may be able to get it factory unlocked for free right now. As far as an unofficial unlock, probably.

You will give them your IMEI and they will unlock the device and then give you a couple instructions to complete the process using your new SIM and iTunes.
- Will there be a iPhone 9 next year or will they skip 9 and go to 11? I hope the next phone is a 9, I hate skipping numbers maybe not next year but within 2 years I bet they come out with another new phone, I just hope its called a 9 and not 11, the x isn't the number 10 its just for the 10 year anniversary
- Will iPhone 6 still be a good phone next year? I got an iPhone 6 Space Gray specification as a hand-me-down from my mother in March this year (2017). I really like the phone and it's in fairly good condition for a phone that came out in 2014/15. My question is if I decide to keep it till the end of next year (Fall/Winter 2018), will it be considered of little value then? I feel like with the release of a new iPhone every September, iPhones get old really quickly, in terms of software. What do you think?

- Not able to get next apple update automatically? I don't think my ipad has the newest update. All my friends have the white little bubble thing on their screens that comes with the newest update, at first I thought only iphone5's had it but then my other friend has the 4thgen iPhone but also has the update, one friend said I should take it in to an apple store but the closest ones half hour away so I was wondering how I could put the update in without leaving home or expecting the automatic update
