Will I lose all my information when switching iphones?
My screen broke and for the longest time I've been debating over getting a new phone. I'll obviously get a new iphone, but I have a lot of games on the one I have now that i'm on really high levels with (i'm not a nerd, just have a lot of time on my hands). I was wondering if that when I save to the cloud. (whatever that it) then switch phones immediately. Will I lose stuff like the levels I was on in the games as well as anything else? Can anyone share their experiences switching Iphones. I have the iphone 4s incase anyone wants to know and i do have an icloud account.
Apple stores offer full service. If you buy your new iPhone there and bring your old one they'll sort it out straight away. If you bought your new phone elsewhere you can still take both phones there and they'll probably charge a reasonable fee - they don't want you to switch to a different brand phone, obviously.
- Will I lose the information stored on my iPhone 6 if I backup through iTunes? Basically I want to back up my phone, but if I backup my phone will I lose all the information all ready on my phone then have to restore it later? Like will backing up delete apps, pictures, videos, etc. On my device?
- When I change iphones, do I lose all my texts? I spilt hot chocolate all over my iphone 5 and it now doesn't turn on. My friends told me that they were texting me like crazy, but I obviously couldn't get them. I ordered another iphone 5, but I'm just wondering if when I change my sim card over to my new one, does all of my texts that I haven't received yet go onto my new phone? Or do I lose them? And do you know if there's anything else I can recover or do I lose everything?
