Will I pay customs if I ship an iphone from US to portugal?
Hi, I'm thinking of buying iphone. From amzon and ship it to portugal? Will I be charged with customs and taxes? And how much?
Since it will be imported from a non-EU country you will have to pay taxes. However, if you will be able not to pay taxes in USA since you will be exporting it the cost in taxes may be about the same. For that you will have to arrange with amazon for a Duty-Free dispatch with the appropriate documents.
Anyway, you can use the UK amazon for your purchase and in that case you will not pay taxes.
