Will my 3g sim work on the 4g network?

Ok, I currently have a Iphone 3gs with a normal size Telstra Sim card (PREPAID) no plans everything everything is bought outright.

I have just bought a Samsung galaxy s3
if i cut down my current sim will it work in the s3 will i be able to use 4g capabilities

The SIM card is also a limiting factor. If the SIM is only 3G, you will only get 3G.

Will a blackberry sim card work in an iPhone 4 if we cut the sim? My friend has a blackberry and wants to buy an iPhone 4 off someone he knows. I have a micro sim cutter that I used when I went from iPhone 3G to iPhone 4. If we cut down his sim it will fit in the iPhone, but will he still be able to use Internet and call people? Also, would his network provider be able to send him a new iPhone sim but with the same tariff? Cheers
Wi-Fi on iPhone keeps saying unable to join network (my network name)? How can I fix this! It's been like this for a week but it works on my laptop fine. I tried unplugging it for a few seconds, I tried resetting network settings, I tried turning my phone off then on again, and I know I'm typing it right. I even typed it in upper case AND lower case. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
