Will my phone work at all in Costa Rica?
I'm going to be on vacation in Costa Rica for a week. I have an iPhone 7 through US Cellular and I was wondering if I'm going to have any sort of service down there (as in data or voice). We will also be switching hotels almost every night while we're down there so will most hotels there have Wi-Fi?
Many have Wi-Fi. Is it FREE. Not usually. It can be in parts of the Hotel.
There are tens of thousands of Hotels. THEY ALL do not have the same stuff.

Cell phone coverage is not EXCELLENT everywhere.
Some reason in particular you can't ask the particular hotels you are staying at?
Have you found out what you cell phone company will charge you while in Costa Rica. Too many plans to tell you what the charges may be.
- Should I get a phone just for work? Or my personal phone is enough? I'm an operations manager and my work require 24 hours line. I don't see a point from seperating but thats what people do… Any alternatives to gettig two phones? I currently have an iphone
- My iphone internal speaker doesn't work on phone calls but does work when hearing a voicemail? The speaker to talk won't work but will work to play music, but not while making a phone call. Or i could hear my voicemail but when making a call i can't hear anything.
- If I buy a new phone and restore my phone will a virus transfer to the new phone? I believe my iPhone has a virus but I'm not sure. I'm due for a new phone anyways but I need to know that if I do have a virus on my current phone, will it transfer with my information and data to my new phone?
- How to hide my iPhone in costa rica? Ok so i need to bring my iPhone so i can look up words in spanish (because i don't speak spanish) and i won't to take pics but i don't won't it to get stolen how can i hide it? Anything i can sew into close or something to hide it.
