Will my whatsapp work on my old number if i change sim and number?
I'm from ireland and i have an irish number on my iPhone 4s but i live in beijing, and i'm moving back to beijing in a few days and there for will change sim and number.
i already have all my contacts on my whatsapp with my irish number and i don't want to loose them when i go back.
will my whatsapp work will on Wi-Fi in beijing with my irish number but beijing sim card in my phone? Basically will my whatsapp work the same way it did in ireland, in beijing, even if the phone number is different?
Added (1). Is there anyway i can't reinstall my whatsapp and it still work in beijing using my irish number, with a beijing sim and number?
Yes you just reinstall whatsapp and register your number again and it will work
You shouldnt have to re-download WhatsApp you would just have to change your number on this application to your new number. WhatsApp is used around the world and it should not be any different to you using it in Ireland.

- Will my whatsapp history remain if I change my sim? I'm overseas on holiday for a month now and am getting a local sim for my iPhone 5S. I know for a fact that without an active sim, you can't see your old whatsapp conversations and I don't need it now.
