Will the iphone 4 be discontinued soon?
I'm willing to purchase an iphone 4, but I've called many shops and they said that they've stopped selling the iphone 4 and only had the iphone 4s and iphone 5 in store. I'm not so keen on buying the iphone 4 if its going to be discontinued in a couple of months. Is it about time that shops stopped selling the iphone 4, as it came out in 2010, and there are 2 newer phones after this?
Well Apple officially will sell the iPhone 4 up until the next iPhone debuts later this year (September expected).
So that's when the iPhone 4 is expected to be discontinued.
The iPhone 4 won't be discontinued for a while however store in shopping centres and high streets may discontinue the iPhone 4 from their stores. This is simply because the demand and profitability will have dropped off for the phone from high street shoppers. The phone should still be able to be purchase from online retailers for a number of years and will become more available in poorer countries as the main markets stop buying it.
There are NEWER and better phones, unfortunately there are some that think everything is Apple and is best. That is NOT the case both Independent reviewers and Award givers, so many take cues from people who know phones.

Don't you find it odd that despite the NEWER and better (technologically advanced) you are still looking at a phone from 2010, as an upgrade
IP4 is well past its sell by date and is next in line to be discontinued

- Will the discontinued iphone 5 be able to update ios versions? I have an iphone 5 and i'm about to upgrade depending on the answer to this question. I know that apple has discontinued the iphone 5, but does ghat mean i won't be able to upgrade to ios 7.1 or ios 8 when they come out? And if i upgrade to the 5c will that be able to ios 8?

I asked one of the workers & she told me that there are none in stock.
